Timothée Chalamet’s worldwide press tour for “A Complete Unknown” gained widespread attention when he arrived at the London premiere of the celebrated Bob Dylan film on an electric Lime bike. However, it appears that Chalamet failed to park the bike correctly, resulting in a £65 fine, which he disclosed while promoting the film in France on the talk show “Quotidien.” That penalty amounts to $79.18.
“It’s environmentally friendly!” Chalamet commented when queried about his choice to use an electric bike for the premiere of a significant movie such as “A Complete Unknown.” The actor later confessed that it ultimately revolved around avoiding traffic. To ensure he arrived at the premiere punctually, he opted for a bike rather than a car.

The actor’s promotional tour for “A Complete Unknown” has been packed with unforgettable experiences. He showed up as a co-host on ESPN’s “College Game Day” in December and then caused a stir on social media by flaunting some blonde highlights to emulate one of Bob Dylan’s most controversial styles. The press tour has benefited the film, as “A Complete Unknown” has become one of Searchlight Pictures’ most successful releases in recent years, grossing $51 million and still rising at the domestic box office.

Chalamet has received widespread praise for his portrayal of Bob Dylan in the movie. He received best actor nominations from the Golden Globes, Critics Choice Awards, SAG Awards, and BAFTAs, positioning him as a strong candidate for an Oscar nomination in that category. This will mark Chalamet’s second career nomination for best actor after his initial nod for “Call Me By Your Name.”
