The accuser of Diddy and Jay-Z speaks up and acknowledges the “mistakes” in the accusations

A woman who has accused rappers Jay-Z and Sean "Diddy" Combs of raping her when she was 13 after the MTV Video Music Awards in 2000, has acknowledged inconsistencies in her story.

The woman accusing Jay-Z and Diddy of rape is voicing her claims publicly for the first time — but “certain errors” in her narrative are leading Jay-Z to request a judge to dismiss the entire lawsuit …

The woman, who came forward as a Jane Doe and claims she was 13 during the purported rape, spoke with NBC News on Friday, recounting what she alleges occurred at the 2000 MTV VMAs after-party – detailing a limo trip to Diddy’s home, and a drink that caused her dizziness prior to the alleged sexual assault.

Although she claimed the “catastrophic event” destroyed her life, she also admitted to several inconsistencies in her claims. For example, she chatted with Benji Madden at the after-party, but Benji claims he wasn’t in NYC then. She also stated that her father collected her from the party, but he doesn’t recall that.

She asserts that the purported rape occurred at an after-party at Diddy’s residence, but there are images of Diddy and Jay-Z celebrating at the Lotus nightclub that night — though those pictures do not confirm their locations throughout the entire evening.

The accuser informed NBC that she maintains her overall claim, asserting that the inconsistencies in the narrative do not imply that the rape did not occur.

Nevertheless, Jay-Z and his lawyer Alex Spiro interpreted her interview in another way… and quickly submitted documents to notify the judge of the recent updates. In the letter, acquired by TMZ Hip Hop, Spiro describes her claim as “a farce.”

He stated, “Essential details in her account — the who, what, when, and where — are incorrect.” Additionally, he states that she acknowledges she “lacks any corroborating witness.” Spiro also targets the woman’s lawyer, Tony Buzbee, alleging that he broke court rules as he “most likely did not conduct a reasonable investigation into the facts before submitting the complaint.”

Spiro states that he will submit a motion to dismiss the case as soon as possible.

Diddy’s lawyers expressed a similar sentiment, stating, “A lawyer acknowledged yesterday that more than 50 individuals wrongly asserted they were victims.” Today, for the second occasion this week, a plaintiff from Buzbee has been revealed. “This marks the start of the conclusion of the money-making scheme.”
