HBO has revealed the initial glimpse of “Euphoria” Season 3. The picture highlights Zendaya’s comeback as Rue.
The long-awaited production for Season 3 of “Euphoria” has begun recently, nearly three years after Season 2 premiered. Most of the main cast is coming back, except for individuals like Barbie Ferreira who previously announced they wouldn’t return.

“HBO/Max chief Casey Bloys stated in November, ‘I realize the series is attracting significant attention currently due to the fact that it has produced real movie stars, and they have multiple projects underway, but we are filming this season, so nothing is different.’” “There are eight episodes.”
The primary ensemble of “Euphoria” features Zendaya, Sydney Sweeney, Elordi, Hunter Schafer, Storm Reid, Alexa Demie, and Eric Dane. Angus Cloud, known for his breakout role as Fezco, passed away at 25 in July 2023.
As previously reported by Variety, series creator Sam Levinson approached HBO in late 2023 and early 2024 with concepts for the third season, featuring a five-year time leap and possible storylines for Rue (Zendaya), including her becoming a private investigator. HBO ultimately chose to halt the series until it could be aligned creatively with the earlier two seasons.

Along with outstanding ratings, “Euphoria” demonstrated its potential as a strong awards contender for HBO. The show has garnered 25 Emmy nominations, achieving nine wins. Included in the victories are two for Zendaya as best actress in a drama and one for Colman Domingo as best guest actor in a drama. Levinson additionally received a DGA award for the Season 2 episode “Stand Still Like the Hummingbird.”
