Nicki’s attorney Judd Burstein claims, “Currently, there has been no complaint delivered to Mrs. Petty, and as such, we do not know the exact accusations.” Nonetheless, if the legal action is as stated by TMZ, it is entirely untrue and pointless. We are assured that the issue raised by this former assistant will be settled promptly in Mrs. Petty’s favor.”
Nicki Minaj allegedly lashed out at her daily manager, striking him in the face with such force that it knocked his head backwards and sent his hat flying off … according to a recent lawsuit.
The “Starships” rapper is facing a lawsuit from a man named Brandon Garrett, who asserts he served as Nicki’s manager during her tour earlier this year when she became physical with him.
In the lawsuit initiated by prominent trial attorney Thomas Feher, Garrett asserts that Nicki dispatched him on a task following her April 2024 concert in Detroit … and upon his return, he was called to her dressing room.
Garrett alleges that Nicki was present with other team members and began questioning everyone about their job duties. He claims she became furious upon discovering that Garrett had previously sent someone else to collect one of her prescriptions.
In the lawsuit, Garrett states that Nicki yelled at him, “Are you out of your mind for having him collect my prescription?” You’ve completely lost your mind, and if my husband were present, he would knock your teeth out. You’re a man destined to die. “You completely ruined your life, and you’ll never amount to anything; I’ll see to it.”

Garrett states that Nicki continued to yell at him and said his “life was over” before hitting him on the right side of his face with an open hand. He states that the impact made his head jerk back and his hat flew from his head.
Nicki’s security team reportedly surrounded Garrett, and he asserts that Nicki hit him on his right wrist, causing the documents he was holding to fall to the ground.
Garrett asserts that Nicki subsequently instructed him to “get the f*** out,” and he states he took his hat and swiftly left the room … securing himself inside a restroom at Little Caesars Arena.
He states that his wrist was pulsing and his face hurt as he contacted his fiancée to inform her about the incident … asserting that he remained confined in the bathroom for hours due to concerns for his safety.
Garrett asserts that Nicki’s crew barred him from boarding the tour bus returning to the tour’s base in Chicago, resulting in him being stuck in Detroit.
He is taking legal action against Nicki for assault, battery, and intentional infliction of emotional distress… and he is seeking damages from her.
