Lil Durk is accused of raping during the 2022 “Revenge” shooting.

Today, Lil Durk was charged with further offenses.

Lil Durk was detained in Florida last month on suspicion of conspiring to commit murder for pay. Only hours after five suspected OTF affiliates were detained, the Chicago rapper was arrested. According to authorities, these five people were paid to kill Quando Rondo in vengeance for King Von’s death in 2020. Quando Rondo and his cousin Lul Pab were shot at a gas station in Los Angeles in 2022. Lul Pab passed away from his wounds, while Quando Rondo managed to escape unharmed.

According to Billboard, prosecutors unveiled a new indictment today, which includes two additional charges against Durk. These charges are another murder-for-hire count and a firearms count. The indictment also accuses Lil Durk of rapping about the 2022 shooting that claimed the life of Lul Pab.

Prosecutors claim that defendant Banks attempted to commercialize [Lul Pab]’s death by rapping about his retaliation against [Rondo] after the attempted murder of [Rondo] and the murder of [Lul Pab]. They further claim that a news clip shot soon after Lul Pab’s death is directly referenced in Durk’s song “Wonderful Wayne & Jackie Boy.” Quando Rondo can be heard in it yelling, “No, no!” after realizing what had transpired.

In the song, Durk raps, “Told me they got an addy (go, go)/ Got location (go, go)/ Green light (go, go, go, go, go).” “Watch your son on the news and yell, ‘No, no’ (pu**y).” How do you feel about prosecutors using lyrics from a song by Lil Durk in a new indictment?
