On Sunday evening, Jenner graced the Vanity Fair Oscars 2025 red carpet wearing a transparent black lace dress that’s truly constructed from rubber.
Taken from the Thierry Mugler 1992 spring/summer collection, showcased a thigh-high slit, bell sleeves, and a high neckline.
Jenner enhanced the vampy aesthetic with black lace heels and long black earrings. She finished the gothic appearance with a straight bob haircut.
The founder of 818 Tequila was accompanied at the party by sisters Kim Kardashian and Kylie Jenner; while Kylie avoided the red carpet, she changed into a black lace Ashi Studios outfit to enjoy the night with her boyfriend Timothée Chalamet.
Kim, in contrast, appeared utterly bridal in a white Balenciaga haute couture ballgown that admirers likened to wrinkled toilet paper.
Jenner is familiar with bold, transparent outfits. At the same event a year ago, Jenner captured everyone’s attention in her transparent black Maison Margiela dress from the brand’s spring 2024 couture collection.
The delicate translucent material showcased the model’s white corset and matching thong entirely.
At the Vanity Fair Oscars Party in 2023, Jenner revisited the archives, choosing a bronze gold Jean Paul Gaultier gown from the spring 2008 couture collection — possibly inspired by a renowned Oscars appearance from the late 2000s.
French actress Marion Cotillard, recognized for her role in “La Vie en Rose,” donned the same gown in an ivory hue at the 2008 ceremony, where she received the best actress award for the mentioned film.
It has been a hectic year for Jenner, as the model has been showcasing her talents on catwalks across the globe.
She caused a stir on the Schiaparelli runway at Paris Haute Couture Week 2025 in January and later went back to New York Fashion Week.
