Kelly Clarkson has returned with another Kellyoke rendition, and it’s a lovely one.
On Tuesday (Jan. 7), Kelly Clarkson stepped up to perform Hozier’s popular song “Too Sweet” for her audience in New York City. Surrounded by her resident band and dressed in all-black, Clarkson’s famous powerhouse voice brought a unique flair to the soft-rock track.
Hozier’s song “Take Me to Church” peaked at number two on the list in 2014.
“It really gave a boost to a vessel that was already somewhat making progress,” he recently shared with Billboard regarding the success of the 2024 track. “It was just an incident that happened, and it has been the cherry on top.”

Clarkson’s rendition is only her second Kellyoke performance of the year on YouTube, with the artist also excelling in St. Lucia’s “Dancing on Glass” during the Jan. 6 episode of the American Idol winner’s talk show. The “Since U Been Gone” artist secured another Daytime Emmy in 2024, as The Kelly Clarkson Show won outstanding daytime talk series for the fourth straight year during the June event.
