JAY-Z’s Roc Nation Disavows Liability for Wild STD Lawsuit Filed by Rape Accuser Lawyer

JAY-Z's Roc Nation Denies Responsibility For Rape Accuser Lawyer's Wild STD Lawsuit

JAY-Z and Roc Nation are persistently pushing back against the attorney of his rape accuser, Tony Buzbee, following the filing of another lawsuit against the lawyer.

As reported by TMZ, an especially humiliating lawsuit lodged in New York Supreme Court claims that Buzbee transmitted a sexually transmitted infection to a woman he was romantically involved with.

The woman, referred to as Jane Doe, asserts that the lawyer from Texas has exploited her since their online meeting in 2018.

She claims Buzbee engaged in sexual relations with her at a Houston hotel without disclosing that he had an undisclosed sexually transmitted infection.

The woman asserts she began to feel ill the next day, and a visit to her physician showed that she had acquired a sexually transmitted disease (STD).

Buzbee’s accuser asserts that she promptly contacted the lawyer to inform him of the update and alleges that he was already aware he had the illness.

The lawsuit alleges that Buzbee requested the woman keep his STD a secret and proposed free legal counsel in return for her discretion.

The woman confesses that she kept meeting Buzbee afterwards, and even joined him on travels to Panama and New York City.

It was while she was at the latter that she alleges Buzbee erupted in a “fit of rage” and pushed a champagne flute into her face, damaging her tooth.

This claim was stated in a previous complaint submitted last month. The attack reportedly occurred while the lawyer was representing the woman in her divorce proceedings.

A woman who has accused rappers Jay-Z and Sean "Diddy" Combs of raping her when she was 13 after the MTV Video Music Awards in 2000, has acknowledged inconsistencies in her story.

On Thursday (December 19), Tony Buzbee responded to the lawsuit on social media, accusing attorneys from Roc Nation and Diddy of orchestrating it.

“The campaign of defamation persists.” Today I was once more sued by an attorney linked to the same legal team I confront in the Diddy case,” he stated, mentioning the lawsuit against JAY-Z and Puffy that charges them with raping a 13-year-old girl in 2000.

“The plot to undermine my credibility and scare me away from pursuing claims in the Diddy case has now turned criminal.” This most recent case, similar to the previous ones, is trivial, laughable, and absurd and will be thrown out just like the others.

“It appears that nearly every day, another false allegation is made, all of which are being fabricated by people acting for or in collaboration with those associated with ROC Nation and Diddy.”

He remarked: “This most recent claim is demonstrably untrue and lacks any factual foundation or validity at all.” Before submitting it, the attorney insisted on $20 million from me, asserting that if I didn’t pay, he would ruin my reputation, even after being shown that his ‘client’s’ outrageous allegations were false.

“We will not passively watch this criminal behavior persist.” We have informed the appropriate legal authorities about this behavior. “We will also be initiating our own legal actions against those responsible to bring this to an end permanently.”

Soon after, Roc Nation released a statement refuting Buzbee’s allegations and taking a further dig at the attorney by calling him “Mr. 1800.”

Mr. 1800 stated today that Roc Nation is legally accountable for his troubles with his former clients/former partner, who is alleging that he transmitted sexually transmitted infections, committed assault, forged documents, and misappropriated client funds. “Absolutely not,” the company stated on X.

In reference to Buzbee’s use of the saying “Sunlight is the best disinfectant,” the comment went on to say, “God is behind that sunlight you keep referencing.” “Not all of the sunlight you receive comes from us, but Mr. 1800, Roc sunshine is on its way to you. Disgraceful.
