Brendan Paul, who is accused of being Diddy’s drug mule, has had his federal drug possession charges dismissed.
Paul has not consented to testify against the Bad Boy leader but has finished a pretrial program to evade any prison time for the crime.
Paul, a past college basketball athlete, was apprehended in March at Miami-Opa Locka Executive Airport after the searches at Diddy’s residences.
According to police, he was found with cocaine and marijuana and was working as Diddy’s assistant at that time.
Paul has not yet provided any remarks regarding the dropping of his charges or Diddy’s criminal case.
The 25-year-old was first identified as a “mule” in producer Lil Rod’s sexual assault case against Diddy in February, which claimed that Paul was tasked with “acquir[ing] and distribut[ing]…drugs and guns” for the mogul.
Diddy criticized the allegations in the lawsuit via his lawyer, stating: “Lil Rod is simply a dishonest person who has filed a $30 million lawsuit audaciously seeking an undeserved financial gain. His careless mention of events that are entirely fabricated and never occurred is merely a blatant effort to attract media attention.
“We possess undeniable and irrefutable evidence that his assertions are total falsehoods.” Our efforts to communicate this evidence to [Lil Rod]’s lawyer, Tyrone Blackburn, have been overlooked, as Mr. Blackburn does not respond to our calls. We will confront these outrageous claims in court and pursue all suitable measures against those who put them forth.
Diddy’s former partner, Yung Miami, was likewise alleged by Lil Rod of serving as a drug mule for the Bad Boy Records creator.
The lawsuit alleged that the City Girls rapper obtained “pink cocaine,” a combination of ecstasy and cocaine, for Diddy’s gatherings. It additionally claimed that Miami and 50 Cent’s child’s mother, Daphne Joy, were among the numerous women Puffy employed as sex workers.
Yung Miami rebutted the allegations, posting on X: “Y’all will believe ANYTHING […] This is something the internet created and you all just went with it!!! People don’t even pay that much for child support, so why would anyone ever give me 250k? “FOR WHAT PURPOSE??”
