Diddy has launched a counterattack and filed a $100 million lawsuit against NBC over allegations associated with the death of his former girlfriend Kim Porter in their documentary, Diddy: The Making of a Bad Boy.
In a legal action initiated on Wednesday (February 12), the Bad Boy executive claims that the media company, along with its streaming platform Peacock, has broadcast a documentary that “blatantly promotes conspiracy theories” regarding him.
Diddy, presently in jail waiting for his trial related to sex trafficking and facing over 40 civil lawsuits claiming sexual misconduct, has rejected all accusations directed at him.
The mogul’s legal action against NBC centers on a specific section of Making of a Bad Boy that discusses the death of his late partner Porter, with whom he has three kids.
The documentary includes an interview with Porter’s former boyfriend, Al B. Sure!, who describes meeting the model just weeks before her death, stating: “It was two, three weeks before her murder — should I say ‘allegedly’?”
An autopsy (also referenced in the documentary) concluded that the model passed away from lobar pneumonia at 47, with no indications of foul play.

“The documentary promotes the misleading notion that it cannot simply be a ‘coincidence’ that Ms. Porter and others connected to Mr. Combs have passed away, in a harmful effort to imply that Mr. Combs is responsible for their deaths,” the complaint states.
NBC has not yet provided a comment regarding the filing, which does not list Al B. Sure! as a defendant.

Diddy’s lawsuit also contests the film’s inclusion of testimony from a man named Courtney Burgess, who alleges he possesses videos of Puffy engaging in sexual activity with celebrities, potentially including minors.
The record executive has previously filed a $50 million lawsuit against Burgess for allegedly making “false and defamatory statements” about him.
Burgess, who has reiterated his assertions in various media appearances, has also accused Porter of giving him a copy of her memoir along with videos of Diddy sexually assaulting both celebrities and children.

He has also asserted that he possesses a photo of Justin Bieber kissing an “unknown male.”
Diddy’s lawyer Erica Wolff earlier remarked about his legal action against Burgess: “Sean ‘Diddy’ Combs is standing up against the harmful untruths that have been created and exaggerated by people aiming to gain from his misfortune.
“These defendants have intentionally created and spread outrageous falsehoods with blatant disregard for the truth.” Their lies have tainted public opinion and polluted the jury pool.
Diddy: The Making of a Bad Boy is among several documentaries exploring the startling accusations against the Hip Hop mogul, while his longtime adversary 50 Cent is in the process of creating a distinct docuseries for Netflix.
