Demi Moore is the queen of “Hot Ones”

After mastering the spicy sauce "gauntlet," Demi Moore, the "Hot Ones" queen, asks host Sean Evans if he has anything "stronger."

Demi Moore achieved the impossible this week – and even on her birthday.

The celebrity from “The Substance” appeared as a guest on “Hot Ones,” the popular YouTube series where famous individuals eat spicy chicken wings (or cauliflower for vegetarians) covered in progressively hot sauce, while discussing their career and art with host Sean Evans.

Evans began by greeting Moore and pointing out that they were filming on her birthday, a first for a guest on the show. He inquired if she naturally liked spicy food.

Moore was careful in her response, explaining that she didn’t want to risk setting herself up for disappointment, yet emphasizing that her love for spicy food is well known to those close to her. However, she did mention that she wasn’t fully aware of the situation she was getting herself into.

During the episode, the “Ghost” actor analyzed the hot sauce-infused tasting menu similar to a wine connoisseur, evaluating the “entry point,” “peak point” and “backend” of the spiciness, and even likening one sauce to … baby excrement.

In addition to occasionally wiping her nose, Moore remained composed throughout her journey to the highest levels of the spicy hot sauce “gauntlet,” as labeled by Evans. She stayed concentrated on her mission and successfully identified every movie when Evans tested her with taglines from her film collection.

Following the well-known sauce called “Da Bomb,” which has caused alarm in past guests, Moore calmly commented, “It’s hot,” and even pointed out to Evans, “You appear to be in discomfort!”

Moore was unimpressed by the final two hot sauces, including “The Last Dab Xperience,” and expressed a desire for something stronger, stating, “I wish I could say that it was excessive.”

At the conclusion of the performance, Evans surprised Moore with an ice cream cake to celebrate her birthday after successfully finishing the spicy challenge.

It is enough to say that Moore performed exceedingly well on “Hot Ones” – surpassing Paul Mescal from the week before, who struggled with sweat and milk – and now belongs among the toughest celebrities (shoutout to Jenna Ortega) when it comes to handling spicy food.
