Color Craig Conover “bewildered.”
The “Southern Charm” star openly discussed his relationship troubles with Paige DeSorbo in Thursday’s episode, which was recorded prior to the couple’s holiday breakup.
“I believe everyone is aware that, if it were my choice, we would simply get engaged,” the 35-year-old businessman said to co-star Shep Rose. “However, she frequently alters her opinions on various matters.”

Conover stated, “Eventually, she’ll message me and say, ‘Let’s construct a damn farmhouse in the middle of nowhere,’ or, ‘I’m relocating to Charleston.’” Then she will enjoy a great day in New York and say, ‘I truly love it here.’”

He then confessed to Rose, 44, that his partner’s actions were “puzzling.”
Nonetheless, Conover referred to their varying viewpoints as “life” and remarked, “It’s a series of choices and agreements.”

In a confessional, the lawyer stated that it was “not a significant issue” if he “took a few years” to have kids according to DeSorbo’s preferred timeline.
He inquired, “But what I’m jeopardizing is what if Paige aims to extend those few years into a decade?”
Half a year after the episode was recorded, DeSorbo disclosed that she and Conover had ended their relationship.

“I believe we both were simply being quite grown-up and expressing what we desired and what we did not want,” the 32-year-old “Summer House” star stated during a December 2024 episode of the “Giggly Squad” podcast. “I believe this is the correct choice for both of us.”
She asserted that “nobody took action” and “it wasn’t something negative.”
Conover took a week before discussing the breakup, describing it as an “unexpected” event that left him “very shocked” on Instagram.
He stated, “It requires two individuals to form a relationship, and you cannot control others.” “The only thing you can control is your response to it.”
