Carol Burnett is more than entitled to her retirement.
But does she want to? That’s the question. The Emmy-winning actress was asked if her latest performance in “Palm Royale” will be her final role in a recently released interview with Variety.
“Probably,” she remarked. “Unless it’s a fun cameo or something!”
Her “f-word,” she remarked, is “fun.”
“I want to do it if it seems like it will be enjoyable,” Burnett remarked.

The adored comedian is in complete control of her career, just as she was when she ended her hugely successful variety show, “The Carol Burnett Show,” many years ago.

“I thought we had done pretty much everything we could do, and we had started to repeat ourselves in sketches, so I called it quits,” she said. “I wanted to leave before the network started saying goodbye and turning the lights on and off,” I remarked. Stop doing this now. I wanted to bid you farewell.

Burnett has given her followers a lot of entertainment throughout the years. It has never felt more necessary.
Burnett stays out of politics, as she always has, as the election season draws to a close.
“I don’t get involved,” she declared. “I know it sounds cheesy, but I want people to be joyful, love, and happy again, and I think that’s possible.”

Add the “h word,” like “hope,” to anything else she loves.
She declared, “I’m afraid of what’s happening in the world right now.” I’m most afraid about that. I do, however, have hope now.
