Cardi B is providing an update on her health.
Three days before she was set to take the stage at ONE MusicFest, the “WAP” rapper canceled her performance at the Atlanta festival due to being hospitalized over a health issue.
“I am so sad to share this news,” Cardi wrote in a message shared to her Instagram Oct. 23, “but l’ve been in the hospital recovering from a medical emergency the last couple of days and I wont be able to perform at ONE MusicFest.”
And while the 32-year-old didn’t disclose details of her condition, she expressed her deep regret over the cancellation, saying, “It breaks my heart that I won’t get to see my fans this weekend and I really wish I could be there.”
“It breaks my heart that I won’t get to see my fans this weekend and I really wish I could be there,” the 32-year-old said, expressing her profound grief over the cancelation, even though she did not provide specifics about her illness.
“Thank you for your understanding,” Cardi continued, “and I’ll be returning soon, stronger and better. Do not be concerned. I love you all.
In response to the statement, ONE MusicFest expressed support for the Grammy winner’s choice to skip the performance due to “ongoing health issues.” “Let’s all keep her in our prayers for a full recovery!” the festival wrote in a statement after reposting her Instagram photo.
The message went on to say, “We are making every effort to find a replacement at this late date.” “More to come soon.”
Cardi has recently had some significant life changes in addition to recuperating from a frightening medical condition. In September, a month after divorcing the Migos member after seven years of marriage, she gave birth to her third child with her estranged husband, Offset.

Even while their split hasn’t been entirely amicable, the “I Like It” rapper, who also has a 6-year-old daughter named Kulture and a 3-year-old son named Wave with Offset, has remained focused on her future as a mother of three.
“Every ending marks a fresh start!” Prior to the birth of baby number three, Cardi posted on Instagram on August 1. “I am really thankful that we were able to spend this season together; you have given me more life, more love, and most importantly, newfound strength! reminded me that everything is mine.
“I’ve been reminded that I never have to choose between life, love, and my passion,” she continued.
